"Plarn"

Last Saturday was the first time Peggy joined the group, although she was already familiar to us. She has been making items out of "plarn".

You tear a plastic bag into strips and knot the strips together to get a roll of plastic yarn. Then you have "plarn".

Peggy is holding a circle with handles. Good for items not needing high sides. Then she pulled out a tote size she is working on. Not to be outdone Chris ran out to the car and retrieved her tote! She said at this size it sagged or stretched a bit much, so she reinforced it.

Thereafter ensued a lively conversation on the "best" bags to use and apparently the color of the logos on bags are also important to the design.

Even with plarn good materials and attention to color are necessary for success!
