Every sweater is a winner. Where else would you find so many handknit items except at the Yarn Ball?

I'm sorry I can't mention sizes since we weren't sure. Many of the garments do have tags that indicate a size and the yarn as well.

As you can see the blue sweater looks small and some of the sweaters looked like very small sizes or girl's sizes.

While the green sweater looks large, it is batwing style: which leaves room for various sizes to wear but may not be as large as it appears.

We are hoping to be able to set up so people can slip an item over a shirt and see in a mirror. We are still not sure what all we can set up yet. Hopefully each year we do a little better in presenting our offerings.

Dyed in the Wool #4 Sweaters

Well, Becky was getting really tired. After all, we couldn't keep whipping her in and out of every sweater Dyed in the Wool sent us. Her mom, Lyn, did show off the shawl because we thought the design down the back was very nice. I suspect my photo skills doesn't do it justice.

I apologize now for the rest of the pictures. I really didn't take the time to make sure each picture was well done because there were so many items. You'll just have to come to the Yarn Ball to see the items for yourself!

An attractive orchid shrug with the details carried though the back.

A turquoise pullover with a design around around the boatneck and cuffs. A soft green short sleeve with a design running vertically.

An asymmetric bolero length sweater with short sleeves. A soft blue cardigan with diagonal details. We've barely shown you all the coverups! Lots more to come.

Dyed in the Wool #2 Some Accessories

Everything from a cute little beaded purse, to a heart on a purse, to a nice roomy sack. By the way, that dark red sweater that Karen is wearing is also from Dyed in the Wool and will be at the Ball. How about some snuggly socks or warm gauntlets? Nothing you want? Why not purchase a book for a great asking donation? I found the patterns I made for Amelia's shower in Simple Crochet for Cherished Babies and the items really fit well. No? Don't forget to check out the flip flops (could be your size) and the little pink purse.

Dyed in the Wool is a yarn shop on Babcock Blvd. in the North Hills. Members of the group from that area shop there.

This year Karen asked them if they could give the Yarn Ball a little support. Wow! Did they come through in a big way. The group was blown away by their generosity.

So to gain some control of all they donated, I've separated items into categories. Please stop by each day for a new installment. Our hat model is Becky who has a hat hairdo. It doesn't matter, she looks good in any hat. And these are all great.
