Total Is In
KC has sent in the grand total of 278 caps! Even after taking all those photos I don't think I would have guessed that total.
Preemie Hats Are Off
On Dec 20th we gathered the remaining preemie hats and tagged them. Lisa and Minh gave us knitted hats and Roxanne made more. We didn't stop to take pix of the ones Rebecca did that week: we wove in the ends and tagged them.
A big thank you to KC for keeping the hats and tagging more than half of them and then mailing them for us. The group functions so well because of the big hearts that gather at Panera's on Saturdays.
Everyone have a wonderful New Year.

A Lot of Preemie Hats!
This Saturday was a big day for preemie hats. Rebecca did the group of hats with the contrasting colors. She is speedy and has a real knack for using odd pieces of yarn for a cute design. I especially like the one with the fluff on top.
In the picture with four, I did three designs while Roxann did the green hat just while we were at Panera's. Then, of course, all the other hats are Roxann's output for the last two weeks. We are planning to tag the hats all at one time. Probably on the 20th.

Other Preemie Caps
As you can see preemie caps are appearing like magic. KC is collecting them as they come in. Rebecca as the speedy crocheter has done many of them. What I love of course is the diversity of designs and how colorful they are. The deadline is the end of December and we'll need to plan for the last group get together to tag them and have them sent off.
The knitted caps are from Beth who has already tagged her caps with darling messages attached.
We want to tag them because some of the women actually keep the tags and hang them in their homes.
